To be successful, a business needs a regular and ample base of customers to pay for its products and services. The value of an individual customer can be difficult to measure, but businesses can use one of a number of economic models or rely on an anecdotal way of valuing their clients who allow them to stay in business.
Economists use phrases such as customer lifetime value (CLV) and customer equity (CE), to refer to the ways businesses value their customers. CLV refers to how much profit a customer is worth over his lifetime in repeat business and referrals. There are many formulas for computing CLV and no single method is a perfect predictor of future consumer behavior. Customer equity is simply a sum of the lifetime value of all customers.
To compute CLV or CE, you need the average expenditure per customer and to determine how much of that customer’s expenditure represents a profit. Customer surveys and tracking will reveal how many customers offer repeat business and how much it costs in terms of marketing and incentives to acquire a customer. A customer’s value is the profit that the customer creates less the cost of reaching that customer through advertising.
A business that understands how to value its customers can make better decisions about customer retention and marketing. For example, in industries where it is hard to gain new customers, businesses may be willing to devote more effort to retaining its current customers through special offers or loyalty discounts. If marketing costs are high, a business can cut its marketing budget and find the right balance between marketing expenses and customer acquisition, thereby avoiding too much of a reduction that would threaten profits.
Consistently delivering value to your customers will result in satisfied customers that will keep coming back to you and refer others to you. Implement a strategy for your business that fits in with your product or service to streamline your output and the flow of your business. Timely service, delivery and satisfaction with the end result will define the value the customer receives from your business. Satisfied customers will ultimately help your business grow and prosper.

This is how the Mythical Creature Feature works. You do not have to surf at each site, but you must surf at least 200 pages at any site throughout the time period to get into the drawing.
